Built for survey

Rosters, objectives, and proof of hours, mapped to Arkansas's required topics.

The program

A full year of in-service, led by a physical therapist

Twelve CEU hours built around the three things aides do every shift — and the three things that get them and your clients hurt when done wrong. Online modules check a box. We build the skills.

PILLAR 01

Durable medical equipment

Hands-on with walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, gait belts, lifts, and bathroom safety gear — so aides set up and use every device correctly.

PILLAR 02

Lifting mechanics & injury prevention

The body mechanics that keep aides off the injured list — protecting your team from the back and shoulder injuries that drive turnover and comp claims.

PILLAR 03

Transfer training

Practiced techniques for bed-to-chair, chair-to-toilet, and floor-recovery transfers — with and without equipment, for every mobility level.

The full 12 hours

Mapped to the Arkansas required training topics so your in-service plan lines up with what surveyors look for.

  • 02 Safe transfers: bed, chair, toilet, car

Designed to satisfy the 12-hour requirement

Arkansas requires every aide to complete 12 hours of in-service a year, addressing areas tied directly to client care. We build the program to that standard and hand you the proof.

RN sign-off, two ways

Certificates need a supervising registered nurse's sign-off. We make that simple — choose whichever fits your agency:

Your supervising RN signs
We deliver completed records; your RN reviews and signs. No added fee.
We provide RN sign-off
An RN reviews and signs each certificate for you — $20 per caregiver, per year.

Your survey packet

Every session comes with the documentation a surveyor expects to see, ready to drop into each employee file:

  • Signed attendance roster & hours per aide
  • Written objectives & evaluation method
  • Topic crosswalk to Arkansas requirements
  • Individual certificates of completion

We tailor the program to your agency's in-service plan and current Arkansas Department of Health requirements.

Why a physical therapist?

Caregiving is a movement problem. PTs are the movement profession.

Nearly every way an aide or a client gets hurt — a bad lift, a missed transfer, a fall, a pressure injury from poor positioning — is a movement problem. Physical therapists are doctoral-trained, licensed specialists in exactly that: safe patient handling, transfer and gait training, fall-risk reduction, positioning, and matching the right equipment to the right body. Caregiver education isn't adjacent to PT practice — it's squarely inside it.

Meet your instructor

Dr. Rhianna Redden, PT, DPT, Cert DN, CSCS, CSOMT — Owner-operator

Dr. Redden earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at NYU and has spent 13 years specializing in musculoskeletal injury and transfer training. Before she was a therapist, she was a CNA and phlebotomist — she has done the job your aides do, and teaches like someone who remembers what a double shift feels like.

She has served as an adjunct instructor in Howard University's DPT program, trained in wound care at Beth Israel Hospital, practiced vestibular physical therapy in an ENT office treating positional vertigo and other balance pathologies, and is a certified first responder. Every Viridian Firm session is taught by her personally — never outsourced, never pre-recorded.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

13 years in musculoskeletal injury & transfers

The core of your 12 hours — lifting mechanics, transfer technique, injury prevention — taught by a specialist who treats these injuries when they happen.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

Former CNA & phlebotomist

She's been on your aides' side of the bed. Training lands differently when the instructor has done the work — not just studied it.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

Vestibular PT — positional vertigo

Years treating dizziness and balance disorders in an ENT practice inform the fall-prevention hours — because many falls start with a balance problem nobody caught.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

Wound care training — Beth Israel Hospital

Hospital wound-care training underpins the skin integrity, positioning, and pressure-injury prevention module your aides receive.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

Adjunct instructor — Howard University DPT

She has taught movement science to doctoral students. Your aides get the same instructor, translated to the bedside.

EXPERIENCE → YOUR TRAINING

Certified first responder

Emergency preparedness and recognizing decline are taught by someone certified to respond when things go wrong — not just lecture about it.
